How the QuietFlo™ Air Purifier System Works:

1. The QuietFlow™ fan moves the air through the unit much more quietly than many of the other models.
2. While capturing larger particles of dust, pet hair, lint, etc., the pre-filter with activated carbon also helps to reduce odors associated with tobacco, pets, and cooking. .
3. Most importantly, the True HEPA Filter element captures 99.97% of airborne particles that move through the filter, down to 0.3 microns in size.
4. To avoid the problem of disturbing settled particles, the QuietFlo™ design returns the clean, purified air into the room from the top of the unit.

How the HEPAtech® System Works:

1. The Whisper-Quiet Hunter® fan moves the air through the unit much more quietly than many of the other models.
2. To capture larger particles of lint, dust, pet hair, etc. from the dirty air, a separate pre-filter that is washable is used.
3. Using the HEPAtech Electret Filter, which is permanently charged, 99.97% of particles down to .1 microns passing through the filter are captured.
4. Some models offer an ionizer that distributes negative ions, enhancing the cleaning process and freshening the air.
5. To avoid the problem of disturbing settled particles, the AirFlow design returns the clean, purified air into the room from the top of the unit.
